The IRS will notify us within 48 hours of transmission that your return information was received.  We will then send you, depending upon your choice, either an email or a postcard notifying you that your tax return was accepted by the IRS.  If for any reason you are still unsure that your return was received, you can check with the IRS online (IRS website ) or through an 800 number.
